Earth Week Events in the Lake Wingra Watershed

Odana Rain Garden

There are some great opportunities to help out throughout the Lake Wingra Watershed for Earthweek!
Wednesday April 22 5-7 pm Cleanup of Odana Rain Garden and surrounding woods.  This location is located at the south end of the parking lot of the Odana Golf Course at 4635 Odana Road, Madison and is adjacent to the SW bike path.  If you have your own tools and gardening gloves please bring them!  This event is a partnership event with Citizen Stewards of Public Lands.
Thursday April 23 5-7pm Earthweek Garlic Mustard Pull in Glenway Woods.  Meet at intersection of Fox and Sheldon Streets and Virginia Terrace ramp on the SW bike path.  Bring your own gardening gloves if you have them.  This event is a partnership event with Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood Association.
Saturday April 25 10-Noon Earthday Challenge Cleanup of “Dinosaur Park” section of Vilas Park.  Picking up trash and some light raking if needed, bags and gloves provided.  Meet outside at Arboretum Co-housing at 1137 Erin Street.  This event is a partnership event with Madison City Parks.
