Wingra Creek Cleanup

Weather Update: The event is on. Forecast predicts some light rain toward the end of the event so make sure to bring a rain jacket.

Help us pick up trash along Wingra Creek’s shoreline by boat or on foot. Don’t forget your gloves!

What you need to bring: Gloves. This is a B.Y.O.B event (bring your own boat!). Boat rentals are not available, but you can launch your own canoe or kayak on the southeast side of the pedestrian bridge by the parking lot.

Who: All ages are welcome, just stick to the buddy system. Children need to be supervised by adults.

This is a rain or shine event but the rain date is Saturday, June 3 from 9 am to 11 am, in case of heavy rain, thunderstorms, or severe weather.  Cancellation notification will be posted on our website by 7 am on the date of the event.
