Wingra Park Boat Launch in Wingra Park
Both paddlers and walkers are invited to help clean up Lake Wingra. We are seeking volunteers to pick up trash and debris from in & around the lake. It’s a great way we can help keep our lake clean, healthy & enjoyable.
Meet us down by the water’s edge at Wingra Park
The following will be provided:
Free canoes, paddles & life preservers (first come, first serve)
Garbage bags for trash collection
Work gloves and rubber gloves
Maps of Lake Wingra!
What to Bring:
Tools to grab trash (rakes or garden hoes)
Sunscreen & bug repellent, if desired
Bring the family, bring a friend, or just bring yourself
